CJ Conway and J David Franzke collaborate through spoken word and sound exploring the realm of ultraviolet. A moment where artists, listeners, and environment become a single instrument.

This event marks the release of Conway’s book of poetry, Ultraviolet, with special limited artist editions available on the day.

Doors open at 12:30 for a 1pm start. Take off your shoes, recline on the floor and dissolve into the ultraviolet.

Rheomantic Studios – Apollo Bay, Gadubanud, Victoria

In 2020 I was lucky to acquire a property alongside my partner Paul Carter in the protected zone along the Barham River in Gadubanud country. Located in a scenic  river valley and populated with ancient ferns and very old trees it’s home to many of Australia’s endangered native species. Devoid of any mobile reception, you’re held in the rhythm of  nature. As custodians of this special place, we are cultivating a kind of creative laboratory centering around Rheomancy – the art of flows. Alongside our own individual practices, we aim to foster a community of like minded individuals who connect with ideas of cocreation with nature, flow states, vegetal consciousness, ecopsychology, regenerative ecologies, new cosmologies, guerilla economies, and the primacy of the felt experience.
